#1 Barifinkle/Team Sit on My Face (-20) vs. #16 Supreme Court
This game has no playoff implications, with Supreme Court out of the hunt, and Barifinkle already clinched. Barifinkle may not find the motivation to run up the score, so the margin in this one should be around 20.
#2 The Express (-7) vs. #8 Medieval Times
With Phase 4 and Supreme Court to finish off the year for Medieval Times, this game will probably be immaterial in their quest for the playoffs. Even with a loss to The Express, Medieval Times should win their last two games and finish at 5-3. However, that doesn't mean this won't be a hard fought game. Last year, The Express beat Men by 12, and Medieval Times (same team minus Moore) should be looking for revenge. The Express will have trouble handling TJ Keene and Andrew Roche down low while Medieval times will have trouble containing John Haller and the shooters on The Express.
#3 Theo vs. #5 Ortega (-4)
In our game of the week, Ortega looks to knock off unbeaten Theo. Theo's wins this year have been against Mallard Magic (3-1), Supreme Court (1-4), Phase 4 (1-4), and NWA (0-4). Their only quality win came with Harry Furse, who was sidelined after the game due to surgery. This will be the first test for Theo, and it will be interesting to see if Walt Lyon can handle all of the scoring load. Ortega has rolled over opponents with a combined record of 4-16, and lost to Tallula, the only good team they've faced so far. This game will show whether these teams are for real or not.
#4 The Bomb Squad (-5) vs. #9 Re-Elect Judge Jim Wascher
Re-Elect Judge Jim Wascher did its best to scare The Express last week, taking a lead into the second half. The Bomb Squad matches up better with Judge Jim than the Express did however, with much more size. Judge Jim will have trouble scoring on the Rachmaninoff's down low, as well as penetrating against Dsida, Traub and Moore. That's where they score the bulk of their points, and this will be a tough game for them. The Bomb Squad will need to exploit the mismatches that an undersized Judge Jim will provide if they want to win. Both teams have clinched playoff berths.
#6 AD (-10) vs. #12 McGarry Dangles Inc.
The forgotten AD is roaring back onto the Night League scene, upsetting Tallula last week, and getting to 3-1. Supreme Court and Theo are left for AD, and they'll need to win one of their last 3 in order to make the playoffs at 4-3. McGarry Dangles Inc. has Coot's Coot and Barifinkle left after this game. If they lose to Barifinkle, that will give them 4 losses, and that means they need to win their other two games. If they lose to AD, they're all but eliminated from the playoffs.
#10 Mallard Magic (-11) vs. #18 Off In The Woods
Mallard Magic has Ortega and Barifinkle left after this game, and at 3-1, all they need is to win one of their final three to secure a playoff spot. That being said, this game should be an easy win for the Funky Bunch, and right now all Off In The Woods is trying to do is secure the #1 pick in next year's draft.
#11 Boo Radley and Friends (-11) vs. #19 Hank Mardukas
At 2-3, Boo Radley and Friends are in great danger of not getting into the playoffs. It almost seems unfair as their losses are against #2 The Express, #4 The Bomb Squad, and #8 Medieval Times. After this game they have Off In The Woods, and Judge Jim left on the schedule. 4-4 may get in, but if they want a guaranteed spot, they'll have to win all 3 games. This one should be the easiest with Hank Mardukas spending a 5th straight week in the basement of the ONL.
#13 The Bullets (-19) vs. #17 NWA
At 1-4 with a BYE week left, the best the Bullets can do is 3-4, which will not make the playoffs. At 0-4, the best NWA can do is the same thing. I give the edge to The Bullets due to the silky smooth shooting of Ben Levine.
#14 Coot's Coot (-5) vs. #15 Phase 4
At 1-4, these teams are not out of the picture just yet. Both can get to 4-4, which could make the playoffs. Phase 4 has Medieval Times and The Bullets left while Coot's Coot has The Express and Tallula. Coot's Coot will lose one of those games for sure, which will eliminate them, and although it's probable Phase 4 will lose to Medieval Times, you just never know. They're going to have to run the table to make the A Bracket, which will be incredibly tough given their easiest game is this week's, and they are 5 point underdogs.
