#1 Barifinkle/Team Sit on My Face (-16) vs. #12 The Bullets
Robert Gorodetsky leads The Bullets attack in what seems to be a must-win for The Bullets. At 1-3, and with a bye week upcoming, a loss would give them a potential best record of 3-4, which would be hard pressed to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Conor Healy and Co. haven't lost a game ever, and shouldn't start against a weak Bullets team.
#2 The Express (-4) vs. #6 Re-Elect Judge Jim Wascher
Underrated, under-respected Jim Wascher try to avenge last year's quarterfinal loss with a new and improved team. At 4-0, they still haven't gotten any respect and can change that all with a win Wednesday night. They play physical defense, so this should be a close, low scoring affair.
#4 The Bomb Squad (-9) vs. #8 Medieval Times
Willy Moore faces his former team in what is sure to be a bruiser. Medieval Times isn't getting any respect in the polls, and think they are no worse than last year's semifinalist team (which lost Moore). The Bomb Squad will have their magnificent trio playing (Dsida, Traub, Moore) for just the second week this year, and will be favorites to win. And if Medieval Times doesn't win, they'll keep it close for sure.
#5 Tallula (pk) vs. #9 AD
Without James Knight, Tallula proved they are just slightly improved from last year's 15th ranked team, getting killed by Barifinkle last week. With Knight they can contend for a title, but without him, it's gonna take all they've got against a forgotten AD. After last year's title run, AD lost all its hype by losing to Barifinkle, but that remains their only loss this year. If they win this game, it's time to take them for real.
#7 Ortega (-22) vs. #14 Supreme Court
Ortega has 3 blowout wins and a loss to Tallula (with James Knight). It's easy to see they're good, but tough to gauge if they can compete for a Golden Shoe. This matchup should be another blowout, but next week against Theo, then the next week against Mallard Magic are ones to look forward to.
#10 Mallard Magic (-14) vs. #17 NWA
Mallard Magic is 2-1 with a loss to Theo while Harry Furse was on the team. The most overrated team runner-up from last year is flying under the radar. Off In The Woods will be an easy win next week, but then they finish the season with Ortega and Barifinkle. We'll see how good they really are then. In other news, Gordie Campbell strengthened his case for luckiest player in the league, winning $25 on a $2 lottery card, then buying ten new cards, 4 of which won.
#11 Boo Radley and Friends (-13) vs. #15 Coot's Coot
The final score of this game will hinge on how effective Spencer Levin and Justin Horwitz are. If they aren't 100% focused this is a game that could easily be close; however, Coot's Coot will have to pull off a miracle to win this game outright.
#13 McGarry Dangles Inc. (-9) vs. #18 Off In The Woods
Off In The Woods is the most underrated 0-4, never had a close game, team in Night League history. They have an upset in them one of these weeks, I just don't know if it's this week. Danny Malkin has been carrying McGarry Dangles Inc, amidst rumors that Mills Rendell is leaving the team. Rendell's production has increased tenfold, and The Express have liked what they've seen.
#16 Phase 4 vs. #19 Hank Mardukas (-6)
This game will favor Hank Mardukas if star Mikey Ahern shows up. If not, Hank Mardukas will rely on the ball control of Chris Regan, power of James Bartels, and silky smooth shooting of Danny McGowan. Sam Shapiro of Phase 4 continues to foresee good things for his team, yet they haven't delivered yet. This is a great chance for Phase 4 to get out of the basement.
