Week 7 Preview

This week has the top 6 teams playing 6 of the 7 bottom teams. Our game of the week is Ortega vs. Mallard Magic. Ortega has yet to prove themselves against a good team, and Mallard Magic has been flying under the radar since an Week 1 loss to Theo.

#1 Barifinkle/Team Sit on My Face (-17) vs. #13 McGarry Dangles Inc.

Barifinkle should win big in this one. McGarry Dangles needs a win in order to keep playoff hopes alive.

#2 The Express (-15) vs. #14 Coot's Coot

Coot's Coot is 3-3 on the official Night League schedule by the athletic office, meaning they have been given a win by the scorekeepers. If they can somehow sneak away with a win, they could get into the A Bracket. However, don't expect much this week.

#3 Theo (-9) vs. #17 Off In The Woods

No Walt Lyon means we get to see if Theo can survive without their big man and star. Off In The Woods shouldn't be able to turn this advantage into a win, but the game might be single digits.

#4 The Bomb Squad (-23) vs. #19 Hank Mardukas

Hank Mardukas sits at the bottom of the ONL for the 6th straight week.

#5 AD (-25) vs. #16 Supreme Court

Supreme Court lost by 41 last week, and Barifinkle is the only team to ever beat AD. This shouldn't be close.

#6 Tallula (-21) vs. #18 NWA

As James Knight gets healthier, Tallula gets better. They're gearing up for a clash of the titans next week when they play The Express.

#7 Ortega (-5) vs. #8 Mallard Magic

Ortega's 4 wins come against teams that are a combined 5-19, while the only .500 opponents they've played have beaten them (Theo and Tallula). Mallard Magic lost to Theo Week 1 (with Harry Furse playing for Theo) and have yet to beat a strong opponent. This should be a very physical game.

#9 Medieval Times (-24) vs. #15 Phase 4

Phase 4 is trying to build some confidence going into the B Bracket. Medieval Times needs 1 (maybe 2) wins to secure an A Bracket spot.

#10 Re-Elect Judge Jim Wascher (-4) vs. #11 Boo Radley and Friends

Boo Radley and Friends has Off In The Woods the last week, which will put them at 4-4 with a loss to Judge Jim. This win would be nice though to secure that spot in the A Bracket. Judge Jim is tall, but Spencer Levin will be the best player on the court for Boo Radley.
